6 Po Na Na

When Po Na Na opened in 1996 it was an almost overnight success. Situated underneath Café Rouge on Frederick Street it developed has developed and maintained an iconic reputation with New Town students over the years.

The club is still popular on the weekend and on some Thursday nights, but the Morrocan Souk may have been eclipsed by some of George Street’s more stylish offerings – but on the right night it cannot be beaten!

City is one of Edinburgh’s largest nightclubs – and as such has a more mass market appeal. Situated near to Waverley Station, it attracts a diverse party crowd.

The venue is designed to look and feel like a dance club – and as such avoids much of the boutique atmosphere of George Street in favour of a more traditional mainstream atmosphere.

10 Fantasy Palace

The Fantasy Palace is located at the far end of Princes St, opposite from the Caledonian hotel. The venue is a favourite with stag parties at the weekend, and is certainly Edinburgh’s top pole dancing establishment.
